Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation comes in a clear glass bottle with a black screw cap. The bottle is not very bulky and the cap fits securely which makes it travel friendly. The only drawback is that foundation comes without a pump dispenser or any other kind of dispenser, because of this taking out foundation out of the bottle is a little messy. This also leads to wastage of product if we are not careful about it. Sometimes too much product and sometimes too little comes out.

All the details are mentioned on the bottle. The shade number and name is mentioned on the top of the cap. You will have to peel off the side label to reveal the full list of ingredients.

Physical Appearance:

Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation has a creamy texture that glides smoothly on the skin. The consistency of foundation is runny compared to other liquid foundation. This also makes it vulnerable to wastage.

Fragrance:

Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation has a faint chemically smell that will not irritate the nose. I did not like the smell. The smell will fade away in a few minutes.

Verdict:

I bought the Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation in the shade Classic Ivory from the Nykaa store. This suits my fair skin tone perfectly.

The foundation blends very easily and you can use your fingers, brush or beauty blender to blend this foundation. You need a little amount to get a natural look. The coverage can be built up from medium to high.

The consistency of this foundation is runny.  You can mix it with a moisturizer to create tinted moisturizer that will blend super easily and will give a natural glow to your face.

This foundation gives matte finish to your face. You can mix liquid highlighter with the foundation or use strobe cream under the foundation to get dewy finish.

The staying power of this foundation is really good. It hides all acne marks, blemishes, dark spots, redness and pigmentation. This foundation claims to cover all the pores on your face and believe me it does what it says. (Don’t forget to prime your face if you have large pores)

It is a light weight foundation with superb coverage that blends easily on the skin. It does not look cakey or too heavy on your face.

This foundation is dermatologically tested. It is suitable for sensitive skin.

If you have oily skin, this is a good foundation for you as it will mattify your skin.

If you have dry skin, you will have to moisturize your face properly before using this foundation as it highlights dry patches of your face.

Whatever technology they have used in this foundation does work; it will fit according to your skin type.
