What I say:
Packaging:
Belif The True Cream Aqua Bomb
comes in a tub packaging with a black lid. The lid is shaped like a hat, that’s
cute. The packaging is sturdy and the 50 ml bottle is bulky. For travelling opt
for the travel friendly option. The tub comes in a cardboard box that has all
the details.
Physical Appearance:
Belif The True Cream Aqua Bomb is
a blue-coloured gel based cream. The texture is smooth, spreads easily and
absorbs quickly.
Fragrance:
Belif The True Cream Aqua Bomb
fragrance is pleasant that does not last long.
Verdict:
Belif The True Cream Aqua Bomb is
a gel-cream moisturiser. It has cooling and refreshing effect on skin. It is a
water based cream. This cream is for all skin types. As it is non-greasy and
non-sticky, it is perfect for oily and combination skin people. For dry skin
people, it might not be very moisturizing. As I have combination skin, my skin
is on oilier side in summer and drier side in winter. So, this cream is a boon
in summer. In winter, I need a serum or face oil with this moisturiser. Dry skin
people need face oil with this moisturiser or go for the moisturising bomb.
This cream is true to its name
when you apply it, you feel like water burst on your face. It has soothing
effect on your face. It absorbs quickly. It is very light weight. It gives a
light shine to the face. You
can keep it in refrigerator to get that extra cooling effect.
It claims to be fragrance free
but it has a citrusy smell that does not linger. I like the colour of the cream
transparent blue, it’s very soothing.
Also, the tub is too large making
it less travel friendly. You have to dip your fingers every time you want use
the product which increases the risk of contamination. You can buy travel size
product or a get free samples and transfer product in those tubs with the help
of a spatula.
It is similar to Clinique
Moisture Surge. But Aqua Bomb is more gel-based and expensive than Moisture
Surge. I need more quantity of Aqua Bomb than Moisture Surge. Moisture Surge
improved my skin texture. So I prefer Moisture Surge over Aqua Bomb. But again
k-beauty products has offers and you can get complimentary samples or discount
on belif products.
The cream contains humectants,
which mean it attracts moisture.
They claim it can be used as a
primer. But it will not blur pores. It will just hydrate your skin.
But for me it did not work that
well. I mean my face was moisturised but it did not last long. It did not improved
my skin ability to self-moisturise. I did not see any visible difference in my
skin texture. Some people claimed that they had break outs after using this
cream.
The cream is a blend of
apothecary herbs. It has Rich Lady’s Mantle which improves skin elasticity. So,
this cream can be added to you anti-aging regime.
It is formulated without
parabens, sulfates, phthalates. It is free of mineral oils, petroleum,
synthetic preservatives, dyes, fragrances, animal origin ingredients. It is
dermatologically tested.
Belif The True Cream Aqua Bomb is
a gel-based moisturiser that gives a cooling effect. I recommend this product
for oily skin to combination skin and for people who avoid moisturiser in
summer season. The product has a lot of natural ingredients and is free from
harmful additives.
Pros:
- Gel-based
- Cooling effect
- Gives a glow
- Contains Apothecary herbs
- Free from harmful additives
- Dermatologically tested
- Best for summer season
Cons:
- No visible improvement in skin quality
- Not suitable for dry skin type
Will I repurchase? Maybe. (for the cooling effect)
Do I recommend? Yes . (for oily and combination skin)
