What I say:
Packaging:
I am reviewing a sample product
so cannot say much about packaging. But by looking at website pictures the
packaging of belif The True Cream Moisturizing Bomb is similar to belif The
True Cream Aqua Bomb. And I have already reviewed the Aqua Bomb (click here). The packaging
is sturdy but hefty making it less travel friendly.
Physical Appearance:
belif The True Cream Moisturizing
Bomb is a white colour cream based moisturizer.
Fragrance:
belif The True Cream Moisturizing
Bomb has a refreshing citrusy smell that does not linger.
Verdict:
The best thing about Korean Beauty products is whenever you
buy one product you get 2-3 samples free. So, I got a sample of belif The True
Cream Moisturizing Bomb. Read below my review for the 10 ml sample.
The texture is light-weight cream. It absorbs quickly and
spreads evenly. The product is suitable for normal to dry skin. If you have
dry, flaky and dull skin this product will suit you. If you have oily to
combination skin then go for belif The True Cream Aqua Bomb. I have dry skin in
Winters so I prefer a cream based moisturizer than a gel based one. Though I
love gel-based products more. This cream is a solution for dryness. As the name
suggest it works as a moisturizing bomb on your face. I did not need
to reapply it thought out the day. I have used it for both my day and night
skin care routine. I have used this cream under makeup and it helps in blending
makeup.
The texture of the cream is non-sticky so it absorbs well.
It does have a fragrance which does not linger for long. But this might not
suit sensitive skin.
This cream claims to provide hydration for 26-hour. Once you
wash your face the cream washes off. Maybe this cream will improve
self-hydration of your face if you use it for a long time.
This cream does claim to improve firmness and elasticity of
the skin. So, it can be added to your anti-aging regime. But again I did not
see any drastic difference on my face.
Also, the tub is too large making
it less travel friendly. You have to dip your fingers every time you want use
the product which increases the risk of contamination. You can buy travel size
product or a get free samples and transfer product in those tubs with the help
of a spatula.
Other than moisturizing no other benfits this cream has like SPF,
pigmentation reduction, anti-aging etc.
It is formulated without
parabens, sulfates, phthalates. It is free of mineral oils, petroleum,
synthetic preservatives, dyes, fragrances, animal origin ingredients. It is
dermatologically tested.
belif The True Cream Moisturizing
Bomb is a normal light-weight moisturizer that hydrates skin well. It is
suitable for dry skin type and it does not have any other benefit. I was not
impressed by this product so I will not buy it.
Pros:
- Light-weight texture
- Absorbs easily
- Spreads easily
- Hydrates well
- For dry skin
- Formulated without harmful additives
- Dermatologically tested
Cons:
- Fragrance might not suit sensitive skin
- Tub packaging
- No other benefit
- Expensive
Will I repurchase? No.
Do I recommend? Yes. (for dry skin type)
